Missouri Speaker Of The House (R-Springfield)
Bringing the best from the farm to the House.
Haahr grew up on a farm near Republic, Missouri, which is just outside of Springfield. Haahr served as a State Representative for District 134 in 2012. In 2019, he became Speaker of the House.
Speaker Haahr was homeschooled in rural Southwest Missouri and was raised in a home where faith, family and hard work were encouraged, and these ideals stayed with him to present day.
Speaker Haahr sponsored the proposal to cut Missouri’s income tax again in 2018 and dramatically lowered the business tax rate in the state.
