Eric Schmitt

Attorney General

Standing tall (6’6”) for Missourians.

Schmitt began as a State Senator for the 15th District in 2008. He was elected as State Treasurer in 2016 and was appointed to the position of Attorney General in 2019.

Schmitt was the bill sponsor in the Senate when Missouri reduced income tax for the first time in 100 years.

His long and decorated career includes revamping the MOST 529 education savings outreach efforts and setting a national model for launching an ABLE program for Missourians with disabilities.

Now as the state’s Chief Law and Order Officer, Schmitt plans to continue to set Missouri down the right path for generations to come.
