Director, Missouri Medicaid Health Care Program
Former Speaker of the House
Card carrying Bootheel member shooting for prosperity in the Show-me state.
Richardson served as a State Representative for the 152nd District in 2010. In 2015, he was elected Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives. Governor Parson appointed Richardson as the Director of the state’s Medicaid health care program starting in 2019.
Richardson and his family own a farm in the Bootheel and have for several generations. He also got a chance to work and live in Tennessee before coming back to serve the state of Missouri. Richardson’s experience shows that a state can’t tax its way into prosperity and the goal should be to create an environment where you can GROW your way into economic prosperity.
